March 25, on the day of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ukrainians launch the first in the history of the country since independence web resource of positive news – the information portal "Good news from Ukraine" (http://ukrainegoodnews.com/).
"The law of physics says that there is no room for emptiness in the universe – it will always be filled with something. For several years, Ukraine has not conducted an effective information policy, both inside and outside the country. Russian media took advantage of this imperfection and successfully filled this gap continuing to "brainwash" both Russian citizens and Ukrainians.
So for us, the citizens of Ukraine, it is more than a challenge to start fighting back all the enemies and "lovers" of misinformation and paid journalism.
It is symbolic that we are officially launching our website today.
The first priority of the Security Service of Ukraine is to protect the State, its territorial integrity and sovereignty against internal and external attacks and ensure the security of its citizens.
The goal of the portal "Good News from Ukraine", especially in the context of current events, is to unite all Ukrainians, whatever regions or countries they live in, through a targeted and systematic dissemination of information that would bring together and reconcile them. In this way, we will try to defend our country on the information battlefield" – the editor of the portal Zhanna Kobylinska says.
Currently, the site has two language versions – Ukrainian and English. Soon, the Russian version will also appear.
