Ukrainians are forced to pay for the Moldovian road

Owners of vehicles with foreign license plates, regardless of the country of registration, will have to pay for using Moldovan roads. The law approved by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova sets out a charge of 2 euros (for 7 days) to 25 euros (for 180 days in Moldova).

Vehicles with foreign license plates may stay in Moldova for up to 180 days, and then they must be re-registered or exported from the country.

Failure to pay the road tax is punished by a fine from two thousand lei ($ 150) to 4 thousand (about $ 330).
