Ukrainian language was not supported in the Transcarpathian Regional Council

The Transcarpathian deputies did not support an appeal to the President on the Law ‘On the basis of the language policy’. Only 54 deputies voted in favor of this appeal.

Transcarpathian Regional Council deputies made ​​a proposal to start work on consideration of an appeal to the President about the law on languages at the beginning of the session. Although the proposal was brought up for vote several times, but the majority of deputies did not support it. Therefore they vote for the text of the appeal to the President at the end of the session in the paragraph number 13 ‘Different’.
