Chronicle of the life of Ukraine in the past year is displayed in Uzhgorod. The exhibition features over one hundred best photos out of more than two thousand sent to the newspaper "Den" by amateurs and professional photographers. Those are pictures of the XVI international photo contest organized by the newspaper.
The photo exhibition titled "Day"-2014 opened in several rooms of Transcarpathian Art Museum with the participation of the "Den" chief editor Larysa Ivshyna.
As Mrs. Ivshyna told the correspondent of Uzhgorod.in, the main criterion for photos, that are exhibited for the Ukrainian audience, is rigorous selection. Because the exhibition must feature only the best works. To achieve high level, participants should feel competition, and only then they have an incentive to work hard.
The photo exhibition will run until May 31. The admission is free.
