Ukraine has increased gas imports from Hungary 10 times

Since March 14, Ukraine has increased imports of natural gas from Hungary 10 times to 7.2 million cubic meters per day as compared to the supply from this area in the last few days.

This was reported to the "Ukrainski Novyny" by the spokesperson of the gas transmission system operator "Ukrtransgaz" Maxim Belyavsky.

"According to current information, as of March 14, 6:00, the record amount of gas supply from Hungary has been recorded – 7.2 million cubic meters per day," – he said.

From March 7 and until the increase in the supply from Hungary, gas was supplied to Ukraine at the rate of 0.72 million cubic meters per day.

As reported in February, Ukraine, according to the data of the Hungarian gas transport system operator FGSZ Ltd, imported about 124.02 million cubic meters of natural gas through Hungary.
