The Cabinet of Ministers once again changed the rules of entry of foreigners into Ukraine for the period of quarantine. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
Thus, according to the new requirements:
1. During the quarantine period, entry is prohibited for foreigners and stateless persons without a valid insurance policy (certificate) issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurance company that has representation on the territory of Ukraine or a contractual relationship with an insurance company – a partner on the territory of Ukraine (assistance), and covers the costs associated with the treatment for COVID-19, observation, and is valid for the period of stay in Ukraine.
This requirement does not apply to foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in Ukraine. In addition, the rule does not apply to refugees and persons in need of additional protection, employees of diplomatic missions and consular posts of foreign countries, official international missions, organizations accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families. Neither does it apply to servicemen (units) of the armed forces of NATO member states and member states of the NATO "Partnership for Peace" program, who participate in the training of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
2. Persons who cross the Ukrainian border and come from a state or are citizens (subjects) of states with a significant spread of coronavirus ("red list") should undergo for self-isolation.
This rule does not apply to the following categories of persons:
under 12 years of age;
who come to Ukraine to study at universities;
who are citizens (subjects) of states with a significant spread of coronavirus and have not been on the territory of such states during the last 14 days or are in transit through the territory of Ukraine and have documents confirming travel abroad within two days;
employees of diplomatic missions and consular posts of foreign states, official international missions, organizations accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families;
drivers and crew members of freight vehicles, buses engaged in regular transportation, crew members of aircraft and ships, river vessels, members of train and locomotive crews;
instructors of the armed forces of NATO member states and member states of the NATO "Partnership for Peace" program, who take part in the training of the Armed Forces units;
cultural figures at the invitation of a cultural institution together with one person accompanying each of them;
persons carrying hematopoietic stem cells for transplantation;
persons who have a negative result of testing for coronavirus by polymerase chain reaction, which was carried out within 48 hours before crossing the border.
The rules will be in force until the end of the quarantine. Currently this date is October 31.
