As reported, yesterday at the session of Uzhgorod City Council, the deputies did not adopt the decision on the allocation of land to the ATO participants. Then, Victor Pogorelov suddenly closed the session, and the remaining land (and often – controversial) issues were not discussed. Including those on the privatization of the land in the yard of the "Owl’s Nest" (details are in the article HERE, the draft decision is HERE).
Meanwhile, construction work on the leased land near the wine cellars is ongoing.
"Ugliness in front of the City Hall. On the leased land, in the protected zone of the monument of national importance "Owl’s Nest", the tenant Farkash is preparing a large-scale construction. On the other side, Stroblya wants to steal the land near the cafe Rakoczy," – community activist Valentin Voloshin wrote on his page on facebook.

Today, another community activist, volunteer Andriy Osadchyk posted fresh photos of the construction, adding a rhetorical question: "Is there really so little space in the city that they have to build this monstrosity in this public garden in the city center?"
