Two trucks with almost 50 tons of illegally produced diesel fuel were detained in Transcarpathia

In Transcarpathian region, tax police officers detained two trucks carrying almost 50 tons of illegally produced diesel fuel.

During the operation "Excise-2017" and the investigation of a criminal proceeding opened under Part 1 of Art. 204 (illegal manufacture, storage, sale or transportation for the purpose of sale of excisable goods) of the Criminal Code, it was established that a batch of illegally produced fuel is illegally stored and transported for the purpose of sale in the territory of the region.

As a result of the inspection of two DAF trucks with tanks, 48.8 tons of diesel fuel was seized. The trucks were seized too. The total cost of the seized goods is two million hryvnias.
