Two Transcarpathian with COVID-19 gave birth to healthy children

The Transcarpathian women, who stayed in the Uzhgorod maternity hospital during pregnancy, were in good health.

The director of the maternity hospital Oleg Onopko told that to the Suspilne TV. The women were discharged home.

"They were in good health. One pregnant woman was transferred to the infective hospital a day after admission, from where she was discharged home because she was healthy. She gave birth successfully. The second pregnant woman gave birth here. The child is healthy."

Journalists were told that a total of 11 doctors in the maternity ward had fallen ill, but none of them had come into contact with COVID-19 patients who were in the hospital.
