Two illegals were detained in a forest near the border with Slovakia

Last night, servicemen of the Chop detachment once again stopped an attempt to illegally cross the border by a group of people. 

The alarm system detected trespassers near the state border. A response team and additional patrols were immediately sent to the area. When border guards found tracks leading towards Slovakia, they sent a sniffer dog to follow them. The dog led the border guards to two Asian men. They tried to hide from border guards in the forest. 

Both detainees turned out to be Turkish citizens. They confessed that they had intented to reach the EU countries bypassing the checkpoints. 

The illegals were taken to the temporary detention center of the Chop border guard detachment. Once the circumstances of the offense are established, they will be brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the CAO "Illegal crossing or attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine."
