Twin of an Uzhgorod monument is in the top ten most popular monuments in Budapest

The monument to the famous Transcarpathian artist Ignatiy Roshkovich, which is located in Uzhgorod on Teatralna Square, has its twin brother in the capital of Hungary – Budapest.

The only difference between them is the picture that he paints. In Uzhgorod, it is a picture of the Pedestrian Bridge, and in Budapest, it is the view of the chain bridge of Count Istvan Szechenyi, the Tourinform Transcarpathia reported.

In a short time, the monument to the artist by the sculptor Mykhailo Kolodko, which was established by patron I. Voloshin, became very popular among tourists walking on the Pest waterfront.

The monument stands at the corner of Intercontinental Hotel, 50 steps from the first bridge across the Danube in Budapest. And now the local press included it to the top ten most popular monuments of the Hungarian capital.
