Transcarpathians will meet the year 2013 with a “plus”, there will be no snow

White flies will not come into our land this week – as forecasters predict, there will be no snow on New Year’s eve at all.  
 The Head of meteorological forecasts department of Transcarpathian Hydrometeorology Center Andriy Zolotaryov told what kind of weather would be in the region during the holidays.

On December 30 in Transcarpathia there will be no precipitations, in the lowlands the temperature during the day will be from -2 to +3 degrees, at night – from -1 to -4. In the mountains there will be frost – to -6.

Celebration of the New Year in Transcarpathia will be without the festive snow-white decor. In the lowlands the temperature during the day will be from +3 to -2, and at night to -5 degrees.This snowless weather, forecasters say, will continue until January 2. Then it will became colder. Already from January 3-4 a small front will come to the region, and these days forecasters expect sleet and rain across the region.
