Transcarpathians will be paid more than 2.5 million for keeping cattle

The MAP program "State support for the livestock industry" have been implemented in the Transcarpathian region. Its goal is to increase production of meat and dairy products.
Thus, from June 1 this year, the government began to pay Transcarpathian owners for keeping calves. The region has already received 2,654,000 UAH subsidies.   Transcarpathians already submitted the documents and legalized grants for over 6,000 heads of young cattle. 
Thus, for a calf aged 3 to 6 months farmer receives 250 UAH, aged 6 to 9 months – 500 UAH, aged 9 to 12 months – 750 UAH, aged 12 to 15 months – 1000 UAH.  For cattle, which was purchased and not raised, farmers also receive UAH 250 for each full three months of keeping before reaching the age of 15 months.
To receive subsidy it necessary to perform the identification and registration of calf born in the household, or acquired (to receive a cattle passport).  It is necessary to see a specialist veterinary service. After that one has to open a bank account, where the grant will be transferred to, and to obtain certificate or a copy of the agreement on opening a bank account. Then one should make a copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine, a copy of the identification number, copy of cattle passport. Copies of these documents must be submitted to the village, town and city councils each month by the 1st day (until December 1, 2012).  And as of the date of the first filing a special budgetary grant will accrue money – informed the press center of the RSA.
