Transcarpathians organize the first “Ukraine Dance Awards” (Announcement)

On July 4, a unique art event with the participation of the best dancers of Ukraine will be held in Uzhgorod.

"Ukraine Dance Awards" is the first nationwide award in choreography initiated by choreographers of the Transcarpathian studio "Children’s Dance Academy" headed by its manager – Eric Sachko. According to the organizers, it is a pretty bold, but long needed attempt to unite different dance schools and professionals in various dance areas around single creative competition and, consequently, a fabulous show.

Thus, during the month, the expert committee consisting of the organizers and representatives of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine were considering the nominees and determined the winners in 10 categories:

1.         Dancer of the year;

2.         Choreographer of the year;

3.         Teacher of the year;

4.         School dance of the year;

5.         Dance of the year;

6.         Dance event of the year;

7.         Folk collective of the year;

8.         Contemporary dance collective of the year;

9.         Sports and ballroom dance collective of the year;

10.      Dance promoter of the year.

Transcarpathians will have a chance to enjoy performances of the participants, that is almost 600 dancers from Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Kirovohrad and Kharkiv, already this Saturday, during the concert that will take place on the stage of Uzhgorod amphitheater at 20.00 and will last until midnight.
