Transcarpathians celebrate the 203rd anniversary of Taras Shevchenko

On March 9, the celebrations in Uzhgorod on Narodna Square will begin at 11.00. The leaders of the region, the city, diplomats, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the public will lay flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko.

  Recall that there will also be a thematic concert to honor the Kobzar. Leading artists of the region will perform on the stage of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic with patriotic songs, particularly, on Shevchenko themes. The concert starts at 15.00. The admission is free.
