Tourist brand of Transcarpathia is a set of attributes that clearly define the Transcarpathian culture, nature, architecture, ethnic characteristics, reflected through a particular concept (philosophy), tourist mark (logo) and slogan.
Tourist brand is one of the aspects of our region’s identity. It is important to understand that the brand is not a design, the brand is a concept, a strategy and consistent actions.
According to the results of the monitoring study, Transcarpathian region is positioned as a tourist region. It has a perfect combination of natural features (forests, mountains, air, lake, healing water), monuments of architecture and art (castles, churches, museums), natural phenomena (the Valley of Daffodils, cherry blossom, Linden Alley), events (festivals, branded routes, tours), services, food and beverages (vats, spas, cheese, wine, Transcarpathian cuisine). Transcarpathia is seen as a colorful, unique region with diversity of cultures, nationalities and means of recreation.
In Transcarpathia, you can combine recreation, rehabilitation and good experience, here you can relax all year alone or with family.
Therefore, the developed tourist brand of Transcarpathia must reflect all these characteristics and display them graphically (with a logo).
Tourist logo is a combination of elements that reflect the essence of the tourist brand in a single sign.
The developed tourist brand of the region consists of the following components:
– Mountains, which symbolize the mountainous territory of Transcarpathia (80%); most tourists associate recreation in the region with this natural feature;
– Rivers – water resources of Transcarpathia are one of the highlights of our wonderful land, in particular, many tourists come to visit the Synevyr lake, many events take place near waterfalls Shypit and Partizan.
– Vine characterizes Transcarpathia as the land of wine-growers and winemakers, most festivals take place with the participation of Transcarpathian winemakers, a number of tourist routes include visits to wine tasting rooms;
– The name of the region in Latin alphabet is due to the location of Transcarpathia near border, which promotes intensification of international inbound tourism and promotion of Transcarpathia abroad as a tourist destination.
Thus, this logo calls to rest in Transcarpathia as the most bountiful region with fresh air, mountains, rivers and lakes, unforgettable culture.
