The camp told organizers – representatives of the National youth public organization "Foundation of Regional Initiatives" – told about its concept and content:
According to Yulia Dub, the Project Coordinator (responsible for attracting partners and PR), this year the organization is strong enough to implement such a large-scale project as the youth camp. "We have set a bar – 100 participants. We werre looking for a concept, an idea that is new and relevant. We have chosen the theme of "human rights", – Yulia Dub says. – We see that there are many problematic issues in the society because people are not much aware of their rights. We decided to organize a camp that will give basic knowledge, the impetus to study more, and will help young people to be more active."
The participants are young people aged 16 to 25. Currently, the vast majority of applications have been from young people from Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, eastern and other regions of Ukraine. Transcarpathians are also expected in the camp. The camp will take place on the territory of the camp site of UzhNU "Skalka" in the village of Kamyanytsya and will last 6 days. The registration fee is 120 UAH for 6 days. The camp will provide full board nutrition.
Mykhailo Fazan, the camp quartermaster (responsible for equipment and technical support) said that the camp will have a full program. The total budget is 40,000 UAH, 20 thousand of which will be spent on food. Nadia Vats, responsible for SMM and the work with participants noted that the program would include interactive lectures, trainings with games. The participants will learn more about the philosophy of law, how to access public information, to communicate with the police, will participate in motivational bonfires.
There will be interesting speakers. Specifically, known Russian human rights activist Andrei Yurov. "The content is very interesting – Nadia Vats says. – There will be law-makers and human rights activists, it is a very good opportunity to listen to them."
