Transcarpathian writer Istvan Kovtiuk has died

All his life he wrote in his native Hungarian, leaving a rich legacy of his own works. An important and extensive part of his work are his Hungarian translations of works by Lesia Ukrainka, Ivan Franko, Nechuy-Levytsky, other classics and many modern Ukrainian writers.
