Transcarpathian traffic Prosecutor’s Office verifies the fact of train’s ignition

At Vorochevo station the second carriage of the electric train № 6565 "Syanki – Uzhgorod" caught fire from the collector, resulting in a break of electric current supply line, after which an emergency stop was carried out.

Because of this event the electric train’s movement was stopped and nearly 150 passengers were evacuated. The circumstances of the event which caused damage are being determined.

The Transcarpathian prosecutors from supervising in the transportation sphere conducts inspection in accordance with article 97 of the CC of Ukraine.

The course of inspection is taken under Prosecutor’s Office control – informs the press office of Prosecutor’s Office of the Transcarpathian region.
