Transcarpathian road builders began repairing “tourist” roads of the region

 Transcarpathian road builders continue performing patch repairs on public roads of the region.                          

          According to the acting head of the Road Service in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Rurych, the priority task today is to prepare the major roads to the beginning of the tourist season in Transcarpathian region.

          Thus, patch repairs have been performed on the roads M-06 Kyiv-Chop, M-08 Bypass of Uzhgorod-checkpoint "Uzhgorod", M-24 Mukachevo-Beregovo-checkpoint "Luzhanka" and on highways Mukachevo-Rohatyn-Lviv-Kireshi leading to the ecological reserve "Field of daffodils."

            The official said that now road buiders of the region had received the task to complete patch repairs on the most important road routes of the region, particularly those that lead to tourist destinations, by July 1.

            To fulfill this task, 14-16 road crews and 50-60 units of road machinery are engaged daily.

          In May, UAH 5.5 million is provided from the state budget for the repair of roads.
