Today, at the session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, members elected a new Chairman. Recall that Ivan Baloha resigned from the post of the regional council chairman due to being elected a deputy of Ukraine.
Two candidates were nominated, Volodymyr Chubirko from the UC, Andriy Serbaylo from the "Batkivshchyna". After the speeches, the latter withdrew his candidacy.
Then, the voting began.
In total, 86 deputies took part in the voting. 1 voted "against", 2 "abstained", 83 voted "for". Volodymyr Chubirko became the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council.
However, Mr. Volodymyr is not going to be in this position for a long time. Recall that in March 2015, there will be a special election to all local councils, including the regional council.

Volodymyr Chubriko was born in October 12, 1976. In 2000 he graduated from Uzhgorod State University majoring in "Finance and Credit", in 2008 he received a degree of Master of Law.
