On July 26, the Rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in a minibus "Opel Vivaro." The vehicle caught fire while driving down L.Tolstoy street in Uzhgorod. The driver noticed a smoke coming from under the hood, stopped the vehicle and tried to deal with fire on his own. Drivers of other vehicles came to help him. However, it was all in vain, until two crews of the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Uzhgorod promptly arrived at the scene.
The fire damaged the wiring of the engine compartment, the left headlight, the hood and the bumper. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
On July 27, the Rescue Service of Transcarpathia received a report of a fire in cars "BMV-118" and "BMV-320", which took place on P.Doroshenko street in Mukachevo. The cars were parked next to one another near an apartment building.
Two crews of the 17th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Mukachevo arrived at the scene. The fighters eliminated the fire. The fire damaged the front wheels and the engine compartments of the cars. 2 units of equipment and 8 personnel members were engaged in firefighting. The cause of the fire will be established by law enforcement authorities.
