Transcarpathian pyrotechnics destroyed an RPG rocket

Yesterday, on March, 6th, rescuers received a report that a metal object looking like an explosive had been found in the city of Uzhgorod, during the cleaning of the canal on Kanalna street. Experts of the pyrotechnic team arrived at the site and identified it as am RPG rocket. It was removed and destroyed in a specially designated place.

Transcarpathian rescuers ask citizens to adhere to the rules of conduct when detecting explosive objects: do not approach a suspicious item, do not touch it and do not let others do so. All found suspicious items should be immediately reported to the competent authorities by phone "101" or "102" or to the body of local self-government.
