Transcarpathian police will not use force against people, despite the fact that now the perturbed society sometimes acts on the edge of the law.
As before, the police of Transcarpathia will act exclusively in the legal field and will not prevent the peaceful assembly of citizens. This was stated by Chief of the office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, Major General Vasyl Vartsaba, the karpatnews reported.
At the same time, the general said that the regional police are capable to enforce the law in the region, so rumors that security forces from other regions of the country are coming to Transcarpathia are ungrounded.
– I assure citizens of the region that the police will not use force against the participants of peaceful protests – the chief of the Transcarpathian police said.
