Over the past day, Transcarpathian police officers documented facts of driving in the state of alcohol intoxication in Perechyn, Svalyava, Beregovo, Khust districts. Two more drunk drivers were caught by the patrol police of the region. Appropriate reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against the offenders.
In the village of Turya Remeta of Perechyn district, in the evening, officers of the Patrol Police Response Team stopped a Volkswagen Passat with foreign registration with one headlight off. The car was driven by a drunken resident of the village of Turya Pasika in Perechyn district. Drager showed 1.93 ppm of alcohol in his blood. Appropriate report of administrative offense was drawn up against the offender for driving in the state of intoxication, His driver’s license was seized.
In Svalyava, police officers stopped a car VAZ-21010, which was making strange maneuvers. It was driven by a local resident who did not have any documents and was in a state of intoxication. The driver refused to undergo medical examination, and the policemen in the presence of witnesses drew up the appropriate report of administrative offense and seized the driver’s license.
In the village of Bovtrad, Beregovo district, thanks to the information from vigilant citizens, police officers stopped to check a car Hyundai Accent, which was driven by a resident of Uzhgorod district. The driver was in a state of strong alcohol intoxication, during the medical examination at the hospital, 3.0 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood. Appropriate report of administrative offense was drawn up against the offender for driving in the state of intoxication, his driver’s license was seized. The car was taken to the impound lot of Beregovo police station.
In the village of Iza Khust district, at night, officers of the patrol police response team stopped a car BMW because the rear registration plate was not illuminated. The car was driven by a resident of Khust in a state of intoxication. He did not have a driver’s license. During the medical examination at the hospital, 1.7 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood. The appropriate reports of admininstrative offenses were drawn up.
Two more drunken drivers were caught by the officers of the regional patrol police.
All the reports of administrative offenses against the offenders under Art. 130 of the CAO (Driving a vehicle by a person who is in a state of alcohol intoxication) will be forwarded to the court for making a final decision.
