The second phase of XVII Conference of Transcarpathian Regional Organization of the Regions Party finished in Uzhgorod on Friday, July 27. The conference was attended by 45 delegates and nearly 15 members of the Party of Regions were invited from all the regions.
Two main issues were considered: the nomination of candidates for deputies of Ukraine in the multi-national election district and in the mandate electoral constituencies.
The head of Transcarpathian Regional Organization of the Regions Party Oleksandr Ledyda announced names of candidates in front of the present. Participants of the conference unanimously approved four candidates, whom offers our region for participation in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the nationwide constituency and names of six ‘mandate majority constituencies’ members. Their candidacy will be review and officially announced on Monday, July 30 at the XIV Congress of the Party of Regions.
We remind that at the first stage of the XVII Conference, on July 14, was approved the list of delegates who will represent Transcarpathian region on the Congress Party of Regions in Kiev. More than 80 representatives from Transcarpathia will go to the Congress.
