Transcarpathian orphans will receive aid at more than 20 million hryvnia

More than 20 million hryvnia is provided for care of orphans and children deprived of parental care in family-type children’s homes and foster families in Transcarpathia

The State Budget of Ukraine for 2015 provides for the subvention to the budget of Transcarpathian region for care of orphans and children deprived of parental care in family-type children’s homes and foster families in the amount of UAH 20,409.0 thousand. These funds are intended to pay allowances to 374 orphans and children deprived of parental care, who are raised in 39 family-type children’s homes and 62 foster families.

Since the beginning of 2015, UAH 8,919.5 thousand has been transferred from the State Budget of Ukraine under the aforementioned subvention, including UAH 1,267.8 thousand – on July 6, 2015. These amounts have been fully credited to district budgets and budgets of the cities of regional significance and match the amount of financial support for foster parents, allowance to orphans and children deprived of parental care appointed by social protection bodies to be paid in January-July this year.
