Transcarpathian Migration Service reminds

During the first two months of this year, 10,812 ID-cards were issued in Transcarpathia. This is a thousand documents more than last year. The Migration Service reminds that the new electronic passport is a complete and fully valid document that certifies the identity and confirms the citizenship of Ukraine. There is no need to read chip data or provision of any additional documents or certificates. Thus, ID-card holders will in no way be restricted in the right to vote in the upcoming elections on March 31.

         Today, you can exchange old passport to an ID-card. To do this, apply to the Migration Service unit at the place of registration. List of necessary documents: booklet passport, birth certificate, identification code, marriage certificate (if available), receipt for payment of fees. The cost of an ID-card is 279 UAH (in usual terms) and 366 UAH (in urgent terms). In case of loss of the passport, the state fee of 34 UAH shall paid. The term for issuance of an electronic document is 10 and 20 working days (plus 2-3 working days for delivery ).
