Irshava region has been divided between three constituencies, because … it is in the center of Transcarpathia. This was said today, on May 21, at the press conference by the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda, when asked how he assesses the "cutting" of constituencies in our region. Alexander Ledyda said that the letter has been sent to the CEC (Central Election Committee) to reconsider a decision as to the village, which ended up being far away from the constituency to which it "belongs". Although the name did not sound particularly, obviously it is a "proud village Goronlab" (according to a representative of one of the Hungarian parties of Transcarpathia Vasiliy Brenzovich), which is 40 km away from "their" constituency. Olexandr Olexandrovych can’t see any other problems.
Ledyda also said that the Party of Regions representatives will be nominated in all six majority constituencies and will fight for victory. The names will be known after the All-Ukrainian Party Congress, scheduled for July 28. Ledyda promised during the election campaign to let his deputies, who will want to fight for victory in the elections, and this first and foremost, obviously, will be the first deputy chairman of the State Administration Ivan Bushko, go on vacation.
