Transcarpathian law enforcement officers have found six wanted persons

Law enforcement officers of Uzhgorod, Perechyn, Beregovo and Tyachiv districts have found six missing persons, three of whom were wanted for committing crimes.

In one case, police officers found an 88-year-old resident of the village of Vorochevo in Perechyn district. The pensioner had repeatedly gone missing. This time he was found 25 kilometers away from his village – in the center of Velyky Berezny. At the moment, the man is at his place of his residence under the care of his son, who was the one to report about the disappearance of his father.

Uzhgorod police found two more missing persons: a 63-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man. The woman was found by law enforcement officers within a few hours after the report of her disappearance. And the 52-year-old resident of the regional center, as the police officers found out, lost contact with his brother after he had left for work to Kyiv. Currently, the man is at home in Uzhgorod.

In addition, policemen found three persons wanted for committing offenses. Two residents of Beregovo district and a resident of the village Ruske Pole in Tyachiv district were suspected of committing similar crimes – bicycle thefts.   
The police of Beregovo district detained a 42- and a 26-year-old residents of the village of Beregufailu, and law enforcement officers of Tyachiv district detained a 46-year-old resident of the village of Ruske Pole. Investigation in these cases continues.
