Transcarpathian law enforcement agencies have found two missing children

Police officers from Uzhgorod and Perechyn district brought a 12-year-old and a 2-year-old girls back to their parents. The police carried out social preventive work with both families.

Yesterday, July 28, Perechyn district police officers found a 2-year-old girl. A 25-year-old resident of the village of Pastilky told the police that her daughter was playing in the courtyard about an hour before, but they could not find the child anywhere.
As a result of the operational search activities, officers of the Perechyn police department found the girl near the village stream. As the policemen found out, while playing, the child went behind the house and got lost.

A missing 12-year-old girl was found yesterday by Uzhgorod policemen. After the report of her father about her disappearance, officers of the criminal police sector and the juvenile prevention workers checked all possible places where the girl could be. Law enforcers questioned relatives, friends and acquaintances, who could have had information about the whereabouts of the 7-grader, and found her at her friend’s place. According to the schoolgirl, she went out for a walk with her girlfriend, went to her place, but did not want to tell her parents, because she had had a quarrel with them before that.

The juvenile prevention police conducted social preventive works with both families to prevent similar situations in the future.
