Transcarpathian-Hungarian Grouping of Territorial Cooperation “TYSA”

Transcarpathia and the Hungarian region of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg are extablishing the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation "TYSA"

One of the draft decisions to be considered by the deputies of the Regional Council is on the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability "TYSA"

The draft decision was developed due to the need for the approval of the Agreement on the establishment of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation "TYSA" and the Statute of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation "TYSA", which is to be conclude between the Transcarpathian Regional Council and the General Meeting of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg region and Kisvárda city government. 

 The purpose of the decision is the approval of the Agreement on the establishment of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability "TYSA" and the Statute of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability "TYSA", which in turn will facilitate the joint development of Transcarpathian region and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg region.

The objective of the Grouping is to implement cooperation programs or their parts in order to achieve common goals, as well as projects and programs being implemented in the border co-operation and co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund. 

 The implementation of the said act requires financing of membership fees in 2015. In the following years, the grouping’s activities will be supported by co-financing provided by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and / or the Cohesion Fund.

 Theadoption of this draft decision will promote the proper organization of joint socio-economic development of Transcarpathian region and Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg region in Hungary.
