From 6 to 9 September 2012 in the sport pond "Kamyanka" (Dnipropetrovsk region) the final part of this year’s championship of Ukraine in sport carp fishing organized by Federation of Sport Fishing of Ukraine was held.
It is encouraging that among the 15 teams that competed for the championship, there was a Transcarpathian one: "Bereg-Uzh" (Beregovo-Uzhgorod). It consisted of the experienced fishermen, winners of many competitions Mykhailo Proyavko (captain) and Igor Dolynych.
In the tense and exhausting struggle that lasted 72 hours, our guys showed uncommon skill: won first prize in the final tournament, also caught the biggest carp that weighed 14.2 kg!
The champions of Ukraine returned home with diplomas, cups, good prizes. Congratulations to Transcarpathian fishermen!
