Transcarpathian doctors told the details about the boy who was rescued by an airplane

Yesterday, July 15, on the instructions of the head of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin and the first deputy chairwoman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Health Care Oksana Korchinska, the special aircraft (An-26) transported a serious ill child from Uzhgorod to the city of Kyiv.

According to the head doctor of the regional children’s hospital Roman Shnitser, a six-year-old resident of the village of Syurte of Uzhgorod district was twice operated in the department of pediatric surgery of Uzhgorod Central Hospital for acute appendicitis and adhesive obstruction. In the evening (July 14), the child’s condition deteriorated and the boy was taken to the regional children’s hospital in the city of Mukachevo, where doctors provided all the necessary range of medical care. However, the six-year-old child’s health deteriorated – doctors diagnosed him with acute renal failure. It was necessary to immediately transport the boy to the National Children’s Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdid".

First, the child was transported to the regional center of Transcarpathia by a reanimobile, then, by the aircraft with medical equipment, he was delivered to Kyiv.

At 14:51, the plane landed at the Zhulyany airport. At the present time, the six-year-old Daniil is being examined by specialists of the children’s specialist hospital "Okhmatdid". The boy’s mother is with him. The child’s condition is serious, but stable.
