Transcarpathian carriers are developing bus timetables for holidays

 Provision of uninterrupted passenger transportation by carriers during the holidays – 1st, 2nd and 9th of May – was discussed during the meeting of the carriers at the Department of Housing, Construction and Infrastructure of the RSA. Carriers together with the "Zakarpatavtotrans" JSC were recommended to develop agreed bus timetables on routes of public use for holidays until April 27. They should also inform the public of the timetable on holidays and ensure that carriers stick to it.

"By the joint letter of the head of the RSA and the Chairman of the Regional Council, district state administrations together with the local authorities are obliged to provide in local budgets expenditures on compensation to carriers for transportation of privileged passengers – the Director of Housing, Construction and Infrastructure Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Eduard Malyar said. – However, the issue now is still not resolved."

The carriers were called to be understanding about the situation, to ensure transportation of privileged categories of citizens on public routes and avoid conflicts between drivers and passengers.
