Transcarpathian border: arrived once again

Non-indifferent locals helped with a new illegal immigrants’ group detention in the Border Guard Service Department ‘Palad Komarivka’ area.

According to the Chop Border Guard Squad, the illegal immigrants’ intention to cross the border on the specified subdivision territory, to which they were supposed to be delivered by taxi, was reported to the ‘Palad Komarivka’ border guards department in one of the evening.

The Head of the Department put an additional squad ‘The control post’ who stopped the trip to the Ukrainian-Slovak border that night for three citizens of Turkey and two citizens of Syria. This was made in order to increase the border security on the possible offenders’ movement direction. Only one citizen on Turkey documentary confirmed his citizenship.

One more detention occurred on the territory of the ‘Velykyi Bereznyi’ department responsibility. As a result, two Russian Federation citizens of Chechen nationality were detained when trying to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border.

The decision on the law liability and the further destiny of all the detainees will be determined by the court, but one thing we can say for sure: if for an attempt to illegally cross the border is an administrative responsibility, then the illegal immigrants assistance in their unlawful intentions is the criminal one.
