Transcarpathia will have to give Lviv region about UAH 270 million a year

16 largest companies of Transcarpathia sent a collective letter to the head of the SFS of Ukraine Roman Nasirov, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal and the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko, in which they asked to establish a specialized department for large taxpayers at the Main Office of the SFS of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.

 The managers of the largest companies in the region call on the government to respond to their request, because due to innovations in the legislation Transcarpathia can lose UAH 270 million. Under the tax code, the regional company included in the category of large taxpayers have to change their registration with the Tax Inspectorate.Thus, in accordance with Art. 64.7 of the Tax Code of Ukraine, Transcarpathian largest taxpayers will be forced to register with the regional tax office in another region (in this case, Lviv region) and therefore pay a significant portion of funds already at the place of new registration, that is in Lviv region.  

Those are the single social contribution and 10% of income tax. According to estimates, it is UAH 275 million that Transcarpathia could lose if the companies still have to change their place of registration.
