Transcarpathia excelled at the All-Ukrainian competition of the Small Academy of Sciences (PHOTOS)

From 5 to 8 November, the third stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of research works of students-members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was taking place in online format
The Department of Education and Science of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration informs that for the first time the competition was held online, and for 30 participants from Transcarpathia it became not only a new experience, but also a worthy competition. – and the long-awaited victory: Transcarpathia has nine winners in the competition of intellectuals. 
During four days, all participants were presenting their research projects and ideas. 
As a result of interesting, but at the same time exhausting intellectual competitions, we have two first, one second and six third prizes. 
The winners who took the highest places are Volodymyr Margitai in the department "Ecology and Agricultural Sciences", section "Agronomy", who took first place and received a special award from the organizers, and Anastasia Tarkaniy in the department "Literary Studies, Folklore and Art Studies". section "Literary creativity". 
Anastasia’s project – a historical novel – was rated by the jury with the highest possible score and recommended for publication. 
Also, the following talented young scientists won prizes: 
Nina Zadorozhna (Philosophy and Social Sciences Department, Journalism Section) – second place, 
Mark Meshko (History Department, Archeology Section) – third place, 
Ilya Kryvovyaz (Technical Sciences Department, Scientific and Technical Creativity and Invention Section) – third place. Several third places were taken by Transcarpathians in the Computer Science Department: 
Oleksandr Bertych (section "Information systems, databases and artificial intelligence systems"), Veniamin Hozda ( section "Multimedia systems, educational and game programs"), Victoria Sopko (section "Security of information and telecommunication systems"). Maria-Myroslava Medentsi won the third in the department "Ecology and Agricultural Sciences", section "Ecology". 
And Karolina Susol (Mathematics Department, Mathematical Modeling Section) and Kamila Forostyak (Earth Sciences Department, Geology, Geochemistry and Mineralogy Section) received a special award from the organizers.
