Transcarpathia became professional rear for the 128th Brigade – Victor Baloha

MP from Transcarpathia Victor Baloha on his Facebook page criticized the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense, and praised Transcarpathian volunteers and soldiers:

"Our Transcarpathian men, Mukachevo 128th Mountain Infantry Brigade is in the midst of hell – in Debaltseve. This is for some experts on patriotism to understand how Transcarpathia fights.

And they are able to hold the front, they are dressed and fed only thanks to the communities of Transcarpathia. They hold the front only thanks to volunteers. In August, volunteers provided them with everything ranging from paint, tape and mattresses to imagers, radios, and even laptops and printers. I am not even mentioning spare parts and food.  Last week, they gave them a Mitsubishi Pajero, because they did not even had a vehicle to take out the wounded.

In general, Transcarpathia has become a professional rear for the 128th Brigade. Everybody donate money, including young children and workers. Ukrainians, Romanians and Hungarians. Therefore, no one can accuse us of lack of patriotism.

Meanwhile soldiers have a lot of questions to the Ministry of Defence. As of today, at many checkpoints (the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense know which ones and what their strategic importance is), there is not a SINGLE unit of intact heavy machinery. Everything has either burned down, or is out of action. According to documents, everything works properly and can perform combat missions. How so? Because of the thickness of the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence. Office generals said they would not give machines until they receive relevant reports from company commanders. And company commanders don’t even have time to go to the toilet, let alone for paperwork. The situation is so difficult that the logistics company takes part in the defense of the positions.

So I really hope that the Ministry of Defence has time not only to think about patriotism, but also to provide checkpoints of the Debaltsevo bridgehead with heavy machinery. IMMEDIATELY!" – Victor Baloha concluded.
