As part of the EU / UNDP project “Home Owners of Ukraine for Sustainable Energy Solutions (HOUSES)”, free trainings were held on August 19 and 27 in the premises of Uzhgorod City Council for initiative groups wishing to create ACMHs and newly established associations. The topics of the trainings: "Why co-owners? Why ACMHs? Property relations in an apartment building. The concept of apartment building management and forms of management. ACMHs in Ukraine: legal status, establishment procedure and activity".
The trainers were Lyubov Pavlovych – UNDP Regional Coordinator for Sustainable Development in Transcarpathian region, Maryna Kuberka – head of Housing and Utilities Operations Department of Uzhgorod City Council, Natalia Kyrylenko – Secretary of the Uzhgorod Board of Heads of ACMHs.
The participants of the event received comprehensive information about the process of initiation and official registration of ACMHs, listened about the undeniable advantages of this form of house management, the possible challenges and their solutions.
Initiative groups that want to establish ACMHs, existing ACMHs, as well as HBCs that wish to re-register as ACMHs can register online at http://houses.in.ua and receive free knowledge that is needed by every co-owner of an apartment building, every resident of a high-rise building.
