Toys for men. Uzhgorod children may be turned into railway modellers club

Miniature trains that travel tiny tracks, stop at paper stations, pass under bridges, run through small tunnels, but really buzzing and smoking – all this can soon rejoice Transcarpathian kids.

Paint, glue and imagination instead of computers

"I started collecting miniature railway back in 1984 when I first begged my father for the first model trains – tells the initiator of the Modellers Club of Transcarpathia, professor of TSU Andriy Holovach.

Now I have one of the largest collections in Transcarpathia, which can be used to build a miniature world of houses, stations, tracks, semaphores, bridges, cars, depots, trees, mountains, grass, people and, of course, trains.

To expand the entire collection, one must have free space of not less than 3 x 4 meters.

Now we want to refer to the city authorities to let us the premises of "Youth" children’s railway club station , which we would like to turn into exhibition halls and classrooms where modeling groups will work with children. "

In particular, initiators are ready to offer models from their collections as the first exhibits which will be interesting both for children and adults.
