Tourists hospitalized at night from the checkpoint “Tisa” were found to be free of coronavirus

During appropriate laboratory tests at the regional clinical hospital of Transcarpathian region, doctors did not detect coronavirus in tourists who were hospitalized at night from the checkpoint "Tisa".
There, the border guards detected fever in one of the passengers, after which the citizen of Ukraine, along with the other 25 travelers, was taken to the temporary observation in the regional infectious diseases hospital.
This was announced during a briefing in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration by the Chief Infectionist of the region Mykhailo Polyak.
"The person who was found to have fever has undergone virological examination. We did not find any causative agent of viral infections," – epidemiologist Victoria Timchyk said.
"We responded promptly to the report, organized the transportation of citizens from the border to the hospital, where they were monitored. One floor of the hospital was freed from patients. The hospitalized persons have been completely examined, they are healthy. No person was found having the coronavirus infection," – Mykhailo Polyak said.
He added that in a few hours the citizens would leave the hospital.
