Tomorrow, there will be no water supply in the central part of Uzhgorod

The administration of the MU "Vodokanal of  Uzhgorod" reports that tomorrow, March 6, from 11.00 to 15.00, the final works for connection of the newly built water supply network to the existing networks in the area of Shumna street are to be carried out.

In connection with this, during the period of work performance, there will be no water supply in the central part of the city. Including Adolf Dobryansky, Shumna, Ostrivna, Ustim Karmelyuk, Pidhradska, Andriy Bachinsky, Ioannikiy Bazylovich, Ivan Silvay, Ivan Olbracht, Elektrozavodska, Kapitulna, Augustine Voloshin, Yuri Hertz (Herzen), Ivan Pavlov streets and Priyutsky lane.

In addition, on Ankudinov, Ruska, L. Ukrainka, and Kotsyubinsky streets water will be supplied at reduced pressure.

The administration of the Uzhgorod water utility recommends to stock up with water.

Water supply will be resumed immediately after completion of the repair.

Requests to consumers:

– after water supply is resumed run water through flush tanks for its speedier clarification;
– do not use raw water until its full clarification.
