“Tomorrow there will be another land misappropriation. A triple one” – Volosyansky

At the third plenary session of Uzhgorod City Council, a triple land misappropriation is planed – the community activist and former member of Uzhgorod executive committee Oleksandr Volosyansky claims.

As uzhgorod.in informed, the next plenary session will be held on 18th of June at 14.00. Volosyansky wrote on his Facebook: "First thing, that the city government plan to do this time, is the next step for illegal privatization of the green zone at Hrushevsky 35a, by delineating a land plot in area of 10.22 s in kind for the assignment of cadastral number."

He says, "The purpose of this land plot is the construction and maintenance of public service institution buildings, although the city Master Plan does provide for any construction in this area, there are no detailed plans of the territory, and in accordance with Part 3 of Article 24 of the Law of Ukraine "On regulation of urban development", transfer (provision) of land from state or municipal ownership to ownership or use of natural and legal persons for urban purposes is prohibited."

Volosyansky says: "It is not just about the land on Hrushevsky. Another questionable from the point of view of the law issues is the provision of 11 acres of land under the building of the former Slovak dental clinic at Mynaiska street, 23a (for construction and maintenance of public service institution buildings). On April 15, 2013, the dentists were forcibly evicted from the premises, and Uzhgorod residents now cannot receive affordable and around the clock dental treatment. At the moment the building is vacant and being "prepared" to transfer into the hands of greedy businessmen.
