Today, September 21, the traditional for Sunday Uzhgorod open tour will take tourists to the "Horyany rotunda", the Tourinform Transcarpathia reported.
The gathering is at 14.00, on Teatralna Sq.
The guide is the Associate Professor of History of Ukraine at UzhNU Volodymyr Moyzhes.
Recall: The unique church that in its age and value is second only to St. Sophia is recommended to be visited by all tourists intending to travel to Uzhgorod. Though now most researchers date the temple back to late X – early XI century, it is still unknown exactly when, who and for what purpose built this unique sanctuary.
