The draft decision on the provision of budget allocations in 2014 to increrase statutory funds of the PUD "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" in amount of 2,646,000.00 UAH to implement the Program of financial support for public untility enterprises in Uzhgorod in 2013-2015.
One of the main issues at today’s meeting is the financial and economic condition of this important utility.

For example, in 2013, losses of the water utility exceeded 10 million hryvnias. At the same time, the rationale for this state of affairs is thoroughly explained, it is clear that the Vodokanal requires intervention, including a financial one.
Apparently, the discussion of the topic will be hot. It is known that more than three years ago Victor Pogorelov, when running for the mayor, promised to ensure an uninterrupted water supply. However, at present, it was arranged only in one neighborhood of the city – on Hrushevsky and surrounding streets.
