Till the end of May Transcarpathia will soak and freeze

Over the whole Western Europe a wide cyclone has accumulated. It will "hang" until another powerful anticyclone replaces it.

Weather forecasters call this phenomenon a deep depression, and now it threatens Transcarpathia.
As the deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Hydrometeorology Vasilisa Blokh said, the whole third decade of May will be rainy and cold, but this is not surprising, for the last month of spring in general is very whimsical, first it set Transcarpathians to the summer, giving almost record 32 degrees above zero, then (from 12th to 13th May) surprised with the frost of 0 – 3° C in the mountainous areas, and now it will tax our stamina with rains.

The forecaster predicts that by the end of May in Transcarpathian region almost every day rain of varying intensity will fall, which will twice exceed the decadal rate. At the moment in the lowlands the temperature will stay the same at 7-12° C above zero at night and 15-22 °C above zero during the day. In mountainous areas the air will warm up to 5-10 degrees above zero at night and 10-15 degrees during the day. When the sun finally appears from the clouds it will become more comfortable – up to 25-27 ° C above zero.
Lingering front, according to Transcarpathian forecasters, will disperse only in the last days of May. It is difficult to forecast the further weather, and probably, the beginning of June will be sunny and hot.
