The exhibition "Carpathian Drag", which was organized for the fifth time by the Association of Photographers of Transcarpathia under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art and with the assistance of the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration, featured some fifty photographs of authors from different countries – China, Georgia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Finland and others.
The exhibited works have won awards of the Second International Salon of Art Photography. This year it was attended by 470 artists from 62 countries who presented nearly 7000 photos for the competition.
The works were assessed by the juries of three countries – Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia. Each determined a dozen favorites in four sections: "Color", "Monochrome", "Landscape" and "People".
It is noteworthy that in the list of leaders at such a huge competition, there are 13 Ukrainians, including three members of the Union of Photographers of Transcarpathia: Mykola Potsko, Vasyl Fitskolynets and Yaroslav Dulenko.
The organizers congratulated the winners, some artists received the awards of the Second International Salon of Art Photography, the International Federation of Photographic Art, the National Union of Photographers of Ukraine, the Association of Photographers of Georgia, the World Organization of Hungarian Photographers and the Union of Photographers of Transcarpathia.
