This year 20 grant projects will be completed in Transcarpathia

By the end of this year, 20 grant projects co-financed by the EU will have been completed in the region.

Overall, since 2007, Transcarpathia has won 53 projects totaling 22.3 million euro. The largest of them concern the installation of checkpoints on the borders.

Also, several projects are being implemented in protection of water resources, construction of flood protection resources. The two largest projects this year are "Support of the economy of Transcarpathian region through the development and promotion of its tourist potential" (the project budget is 712,000 euros) implemented by the Regional Council and the Regional Development Agency and the project "Three in unity – project of conservation of ecclesiastical cultural heritage for the joint development of culture and tourism" which is implemented by the Transcarpathian Reformed Church (the budget is 134,000 euros).
