On July 27-28, the International Ethnographic and Ecological "Pralis-Fest" will be held on the territory of the Uzhok National Nature Park in the village of Stuzhytsia, Velyky Berezny district.
The festival was founded relatively recently, in 2017, so it will be held for the third time. The aim set by the organizers is the promotion of unique natural, cultural and historical objects on the territory of the nature reserve fund, preserving wildlife – virgin forests that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage "Beech Virgin Forests of the Carpathians and other regions of Europe." The event also promotes local communities, demonstrate their everyday life, traditional crafts, etc., as well as facilitates the establishment of international cooperation.
The official opening of this year’s festival, which is supported by the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, is on Sunday, July 28, at 15.00. There will be performances by regional and local groups, local cuisine and drinks. Masters of applied arts will present their works, which will be available for purchase.
